Living in San Diego, I don't see many SLs on the road. When I do, they stand out in traffic. I have a loaner C-class and spotted another Mars red SL. I drooled even though I see one everyday in my garage (well, except when it's at the dealer). I see more cars on dealer lots than on the street. Perhaps the high housing/property tax costs in San Diego (e.g.,
www.santaluzresales.com) discourages people from blowing $100k on a car.
