poor reliability
I live in LA and thought my new '03 SL500 would be the perfect commuter car and weekend cruiser when I bought it new a year and a half ago. But after the car was less than one year old, I bought an '04 X5 as a second car. I became fed up with driving around in loaner C-class sedans while my new roadster sat in the MB shop so many times for repair (various problems: top malfunctions, locked out, wouldn't start, leaking trunk, top rattles when stowed, rattles, parktronic "demons", etc.) I would have to say I am unhappy with the car's reliability.
