Although I wax every two months I have my car washed by hand every other week, no brushes. First air, and then soap and water. The number one cause of dull paint is letting dust sit on your car. I now it sounds silly but it is. Dust when pushed around by air or water acts like sand paper on the paint. Of course a nice custom fit car cover by MB doesn't hurt while you don't drive her.
