190 E starting problem
I have a 1992 190E 2.6L. I can pour fuel in the breather and it starts until the fuel runs out. I can hear the fuel pump buzzing when I turn on the ignition. I checked to see if fuel was getting to the fuel distributor and it is. It does not have high pressure though. I don't know how to check to see if the distributor is working or not. Or the electric module on it.
I then went out and switch the key on several times engaging the fuel pump (under the drivers side) and get the almost start sound. Help? |

no love in the 190 arena. i guess we are the red headed step-child even diy benz owners would like to forget about. no offense...sp? I have no advice for you except to sell it and buy an e320 because that is where the support is. no one here cares about our compact mbz's. find a good indie or suck it up and move on. hope that helps...
