Overheated now rough idle pleas help
The car overheated got very hot, hose came off at top of radiator. The radiator inlet had crack so replaced radiator and thermostat. When car stopped at a stoplight had very rough idle. Once leaving stoplight car runs good no surging appears to fine fine until coming to a stop then has rough idle again. Replaced spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Still has rough idle. Also went to auto wrecker and got a coil installed it still no difference. Put original coil back on. Your input please

Check oil, check coolant. Make sure they are the right colors.
Possible intake gasket leak/head gasket leak. If both of those fluids are as they need to be, then wait 3-6K miles and look again. Probably good to check every 1k miles or so just in case. In the mean time, check for vacuum leaks, air filter, and maybe even that sensor in the intake just before filter in the plastic tube thing, on the drivers side. Im not sure if that effects idle tho. Just some idea's.

check distributor electrical connectors, what got wet then, stuck egr apply vacuum by mouth then blow to close, serpentine belt tension, always check vacuum hoses one to bottom or manifold is a hard reach, beginnings of a burned valve.
