Ebay Grille

Hey, I just installed the grille I bought off ebay this past weekend. Initially the grille fit right into the chrome housing but the original metal clips had a hard time staying on the insert. I took a metal file and just filed down the plastic on the backside of the grille so that the top 4 clips stayed on just fine. To fit the metal clips on the side, I not only had to file down some of the plastic on the grille, but I also had to pinch the clips so they were not as big and they fit on fine. Some other people on the club202 forum used a dremel tool to speed up this process. It's time consuming but well worth it.

In short, if you spend the time to alter the grille a little and do it carefully, the grille will come out just the way you want it to look. I am very pleased with it especially for the price. =) I spent about 40 minutes altering and installing the grille since I had to manually file the plastic off. I also spent another 25 minutes finding the screw I dropped into the engine bay

Good luck with this!
