Can't believe that one so called "Mercedes Specialist" told me that I needed to replace my whole command system. Then I told him what I had read on the forums about the seat module and it worked. I told him to just leave it disconnected and I brought it to another mechanic.
Regardless, maybe there are other aftermarket manufacturers who make compatible parts?
