Hi i'm new to this forum and i'm thinking about asking my Father-in-law if i can restore his old Mercedes. I really don't know anything about this car at the moment but i've decided to post up some pictures of it for now. I'm not even sure if it is running. All i remember is seeing a similar car in a catalog back when i was in 7th grade (1987). If anyone has any more information about this car please let me know. Thanks

It says 1000SEL AMG on the back.
