I think my CLK55 had something strange going on w/its traction control....from what others told me, their cars didn't do this, but basically if traction control was disabled, I'd get no intervention whatsoever, and I can relate.

Turned it off one time in perfectly dry and warm conditions and took an off-camber corner with a bit more throttle than needed, and wham!! Out snapped, and I do mean snapped, the back end....I was around pert near 90 degrees when I caught it, and had I not caught it I'd have probably gone ass-end first into a curb with loads of people watching.

I'd always had limited slips in the high-powered cars prior to that one, and wasn't quite ready for how quick and uncontrolled the back and came out...Mercedes should really make LSD standard on all AMGs, the turds! It definitely makes a big difference on this one, *much* more progressive.
