TheGerman, you are 101% right!
The most important fact, I think is:
ATF III has more softeners - this softeners corrode the brake bands etc.
And that can be very expensive...
Same thing is with the olders MB, which need ATF I.
If you fill in ATFIII or newer... That will be big problem.
