Externally the 430 and 55 engines are almost identical so it will bolt up to either. The difference in the HPS gen1 kits are the 55 comes with a smaller pulley to spin the SC quicker in an effort to increase the boost to make up for the larger displacement of the 55 engine. As I mentioned earlier the Eaton MP90 SC is too small to efficiently supply the 55 engine. The HPS kits were originally produced with the 430 in mind. The other part that is different is a flat metal spacer between the mounting plate and the SC that is about 3/8" thick I think this has to do with the smaller pulley having a slightly different offset. The rest of the kit is the same for either engine. There may however be some differences in the piping to the air cleaner between the different models (CLK, E, C43, etc) These could probably be overcome with aftermarket tubing.
