Alpine makes an iDA-X305 head unit that reads digital files (not through the analog cable, but real digital output) from an iPhone, iPod, or any USB powered hard drive (32Gb thumb drives hold a lot of music). The iDA-X305 is Bluetooth capable (another $100), and using the PAC boxes will allow steering wheel controls to function and supply a balanced signal interconnection (which is what the BOSE amps are looking for). I paid a price comparable to the DICE unit.
