One you were registered (and paid the $50), you could drive your own car on the high bank - behind a pace vehicle. The pace vehicle averaged 80-90 mph and so many of us let off on the straights to hammer the corners. I saw 125, but others (I think the last group of the day) hit Vmax. 
The SL65 Black and CLK63 Black weren't there this day - we returned for the track day at Barber later that weekend. |
