I'll go with your suggestion without the muffler initially, since that muffler is pricey. The tone the Eisennman gives from all the videos i viewed it sounds hard to pass. Headers + Cats would make it sound even better.
I just need to decide if i wanna go 300 cell or 200. I need to understand this raspyness you speak of :p

The 300-cell metal cores are $180 shipped for the pair 200s are closer to 220+, so the 300s are cheaper, and do a better job of cleaning up the exhaust without sacrificing much power (if any). They do clean up the sound considerably as well to give a nice clean sound. The difference between 200-300 isn't huge but it is enough to be noticed. Personally, I prefer 300-cells just b/c all around is a better option.
The rear section of the exhaust is 100% free flowing as is and you won't pick up any HP really so its hard to justify that much $$ purely for sound purposes, might as well tackle the real bottlenecks in the system, pick up more power, and improve sound all at the same time for a fraction of the cost per HP.
Hope that helps,
