this is perfectly safe to do. it will not hurt anything. after about 250-300 shifts, your car learns your driving style and tends to shift and provide power the way that is most comparable to your driving style. this simply resets this and results in more raw shifts and better throttle response. i do this all the time on my car as to many many members here with modded cars.

nothing shows up on the dash. at all.

EDIT: Holy Crap you guys.....sneaky ECU reset WORKS!!!

you will notice a difference. you can wait longer too. it works fine for me after 2 minutes. i used to wait 30 minutes until i found out 2 minutes works just fine.
