Greetings all! Back once again to push the limits of your thinking on what is possible with the w202 chassis. For those of you not familiar with me I have been messing around with my car and others around me for a few years now and still going. First mod was the 5.5 n/a in my car. Then came my factory LSD swap from a 190e 16v to ensure all of it was getting to the ground. I grew tired of the power and my mind started to think of something else

Which brought about the making of (as far as I am aware of) the first N/A SL55 (completed about a week ago). If I knew how to put in links I would but they are there. This is basically a story of MY CAR up to this point.
April 1 2009: I was looking on ebay and randomly searching for things I then punched in mercedes supercharger. As I was scrolling down I saw this!!! After being told I wasn't going to buy it so stop saying you are by my friends I bid and so it began
April 14: The engine arrived during lunch at my job and I was so happy. I looked it over and made up a list of things I wanted/needed to replace. I intended to replace all seals and gaskets on the engine including the head gaskets.
April 18: I showed up to work and started at 7 in the morning and finished 4 in the evening
April 20: I woke up that morning like every morning and went to the gym close to my job to workout. Feeling good I left for work. The weather had changed to a horrible down pour. Taking the off ramp and going faster than need be I started to hydroplane and ended up in a guard rail
June 2: Finally get my car back a month and a couple of weeks later

I only managed to drive home once before the engine came out. During that month of down time I cleaned up the engine and modified the electronic by-pass valve (removed it), modified the S/C inlet to accept the larger 82mm TB.
June 5: The engine came out
June 6: Everything was swapped over fom the N/A to the S/C engined. A few things had to be modified
June 7: Re-pined the entire engine harness to accept the old ECU connectors
June 10: Engine was dropped back in
June 11-29: I have put an aftermarket trans cooler with built in temp switch and fan, relocated the air pump, installed oil cooler, installed heat exchanger with a johnson pump, converted the mechanical fan to an electronic on and randomly worked on it when I had time.
June 30 (yesterday): I pressure tested the coolant and one of the hoses blew off and got everything wet. The radiator is leaking from three punctures caused by the sh#ty aftermarket condensor with huge rivets. That was not going to stop me. Start that baby up!!!!!!!

The squealing is from the coolant on the belts.
Enjoy
