The fuel filter and pump are in the rear of the car under a panel, the AC evaporator requires the entire console and dash to be removed, sadly it is a common issue on the early 140s. The rest of the sad story is that the typical job falls in the $4,000 area, and rookies can mess things up especialy finding fasteners and putting every thing back properly.
