Internal (suction) pressure? Bull.

If heat soak is a problem, wrap it with heat reflective tape.

The turbulence would be more of a concern than collapse.
However, the expanded intake volume should more than compensate for the turbulence.

(Yes, it's true, I cannot provide any science to support my position, but neither did anyone else and I supported my comments with pure conjecture.
