I must join too. However, being an old guy and not the most computer savvy I have to figure out how to do it.
I had a 1986 560 SEL and a 1999 E55 both very nice cars. However, MB cars are like all other makes and tend to get expensive when they are over 5 years old. AMGs are money pits for MB. The brakes are crazy prices. They do have a better quality feel then the Japanese makes like Lexus. I do not know why but the Japanese brands still feel "tinny" including the LS 460L.
The Japanese makes are also inferior in performance. The GS460 has only 350 horses and the Ford Mustangs and Camaros can blow them away. Apart from the tiny IS V8 there is nothing to match AMG.
Ford is good with its Shelby GT500, 540 bhp and 6 on the floor. I hope Oshawa's Camaro Z28 with 556 bhp will become reality. These mega-horse machines will not last forever with Obamama and Obadaddas of this world out to kill all muscle machines and replace them with battery cars.
