I did a little research on various forums and came to the conclusion that the MTEC hid kits were probably the best on the market. I didnt want to buy a cheap kit and mess with adding a capacitor etc. I called a couple of local aftermarket installers and they advised me not to mess with the Mercedes electronics!. The dealers quoted over 1500 bucks to change the lights. So I took a bit of a gamble and was nervous when the MTEC guy said that the kit was designed for Mercedes! Honestly I didnt want to believe him. I made an offer of 250 for the kit with 4500K H7 bulbs and he shipped it in 2 days flat!. The kit looked decent with quality bulbs and harness and ballust thingy. After a careful review of everything I removed the OEM halogen bulb and bored a 1" hole in the dust cap. This is the only permanent change I had to make. The supplied rubber grommet fit perfectly into the hole sealing it completely and all the wires passed through this grommet well, pretty much water tight and fit in very well. The supplied bulbs fit in to the housing without any problem. I mounted the ballusts over the space available above the shocks. There are a few pre-existing holes that will allow placement of ballust with couple of nuts and bolts supplied with the kit. Didnt use the metal strap that was supplied as it was not needed. I routed the wires through an empty rubber grommet that was already in the car which had been unused!. After everything was done I went into the car and turned off all electronics inside including the climate control, main HU, audio and all the inside lights just to be on the safe side and turned on the headlights. The lights came on and it was beautiful. No flicker, no error message and it was white as an OEM Hid light. I then turned back on all electronic equipment and even put the headlight in auto mode... no problem. I have used it for couple days now and it runs great. The lights are in auto mode which means it comes on automatically and so far no errors whatsoever!. I love it so far. Will need to adjust the lights for proper aiming which will be done in the next few days.

Thanks to everyone who put great information on this forum regarding the HID kits. I just wanted to share the info. BTW I am a noob to this forum.
Sounds great please provided the vendor you bought them from and pics of your install....thanks
