She lives!
Steve fired the car yesterday with the SC and I am told she runs perfect.
See everyone at the car show and for those who are not attending, pics to follow.

Awesome!!! I look forward to your impressions...please post as many details as possible (ie. Power delivery, sound, temps, any hiccups when shifting in S or C mode, etc.) And I look forward to the pics as well! Could you get pictures showing the intercooler as well?
It sounds like jrcarts not done yet He hasn't said though if they will be finishing it up before he heads back home.

First impressions:
1. instant throttle response from about 2,000 rpm
2. when driving normal you can not hear the sc which was my biggest concern as I don't want attention
3. spinning in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd....esp can be your friend here (on the street) unless you want to play
4. raining in socal today so no pics
5. rwhp is in the 550 region...I haven't seen dyno slips yet
6. biggest problem is that it confirms the heads and cams will be coming shortly!
Only get another week with the car before it goes back to storage so will try and get pics and video if time allows.

Thanks for your impressions ecampbell. I can only imagine at this point how hard the car pulls, but it sounds like a beast. So under mild or heavy acceleration, I'm assuming you can hear the whine inside the car?
And that's a bummer jrcart! From that statement, it sounds like it will still be awhile before your car is finished?

Pulls real hard...
The exhaust is quite loud and drowns out the noise of the SC. The car is all about top end however as it pulls even harder once above 5,000.
Done playing with cars and off to play in Santa Monica for the night.

That's strange .... sounds more like the characteristics of a turbo charged or high revving naturally aspirated engine. Since Superchargers are belt driven, they usually are very responsive just above idle and fade away at the top.

I agree, a supercharger produces instant low end grunt.

I have about 75KG of luggage in the trunk and a wife in the passenger seat so have not done anything hard off the line.
I will likely change my story once I have gotten rid of the excess baggage!

So a successful trip to Vegas with the car. It has all the manners in the world until you open up and then she goes. No hiccups or problems reported. A big thanks to Steve for all the hard work. The next stage will be in the summer for a makeover... with any luck I will be in the states to see the results first hand.
I heard about Jim's car and am sure will Rich will be updating us all shortly on Tuesday.

Post some pics whenever you receive some.
What do you have in mind for your makeover?

Here are the only pics I have found. I did not take any of these pictures so give credit to those who took a picture at the Hooters event.
In the last picture you can see the intercooler...I may end up getting it painted black as it stands out too much for me.
