Navi can´t read disc

Have a problem with my command. It says it can´t read my navi cd. Is there anything i can do to solve this problem ? The car is an E-55 AMG-00. I have an original cd from Mb. sometimes it works but usually not. Of 100 times i trie it wont read the cd more than ones. anyone who can help

I'm not really sure, but it seems to be a common problem. I went to their shop, and it looks like they know what they are doing. You could buy my unit for $500!

I had the same problem with my s430. The system would say it was reading the disc for about 3 min then It would say it could not read disc. when I listened to the drive in the trunk I heard the drive spin then stop numerous times. It turned out to be the disc drive. The drive was about 1500. but my extended warranty covered it.
