Sirius Problem

Have a two week-old 2008 C300 with the MM package, and was shocked how good the Sirius sounded. Then yesterday I started to get the dreaded "acquiring signal" on the screen. No change in where I was driving, clear weather. Since it worked great for two weeks, what would account for it suddenly acting up? All I can think of is that I did go through a car wash yesterday (?!). This is maddening, and I'm not in the mood for a MB-Sirrius battle. Any suggestions?

Could be an antenna connection problem. Just take it to the dealer. The hardware is all theirs. They won't point fingers at Sirius.

Call Sirius and they can send you a test signal.

It was either water getting into the antenna connection or it was a terrestrial repeater down in the area. Keep an eye out next time you get your car washed.. if the same thing happens then you might want to have the dealer look at it.
