Does 3G iPhone work with the V60 Bluetooth Puck
Does anyone know whether the new 3G iPhone works with the V60 Bluetooth Puck?
Does the caller ID show up on the COMAND screen? Is there a problem with downloading the phone book? Thanks. |

I have the UHI Bluetooth adapter, similar to the one pictured here. Sorry I'm traveling at the moment and an't verify the part number, but I think it is B 6 7 87 5839, the older model.
I have an iphone 3G, and it works well with this, fast sync of phonebook/contacts (although it is limited to either 250 or 500 contacts, and there appears to be no way to control which 500 get synced - my older S-E allowed me to rearrange memory order). It does display incoming caller nubers in the MFD and the COMAND, not always names. I believe this a limitation in the COMAND, where it can only map exact numbers, so storing numbers with a leading +1, as I do to facilitate international texting and roaming, confuse it. I have a 2003 SL R230, with CD COMAND.

Just to be clear, I have the UHI/MHI Bluetooth adapter and correspondng PSE module, not the V60 adapter, so I can't directly vouch for the features on the V60 part. Just providing the info I know.
