Is this my stereo amp? or something else? I do not have sat, or tele-aid.

This is the audio amplifier, you can see the fibre cables entering/leaving it too. I've seen this with a differently looking heat sink but it must still be the same.

The phone bulletins at http://home.earthlink.net/~phdwebsit..._bulletins.htm will help you to locate and identify many of the audio components in your car. If you go to MBUSA.com and register as an owner (it's free, and you'll need your VIN), you can download an electronic copy of the Owner's Manual and the service manual. If you have COMAND, you can download the manual from http://home.earthlink.net/~phdwebsite/comand_manual.htm
