How do you remove the backseat?

Hello everyone! Newb here.

Long story short, my dog was sick last week and on the way to the ER vet she vomited all over the back seat (real nice, I know). Now it's down underneath and I can't for the life of me, figure out how to pull the seat out so I can clean under there.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

there should only be a few bolts, i've taken it out a few times. i think there is a lever that can allow you to remove the bottom and then like three bolts for the back. what year is your car? any pics of the seat?

on my w210/E320....

- bottom corners of the seat bottom is a plastic release paddles

- once the bottom is removed and set aside, seat back had 3 bolts, lower edge,
each corner, plus middle

- cup fingers on lower edge and pull straight up. along/behind top edge of
seat are wire "U" shape hooks....which fit into horizontal loops in the
car body

- overall removal time, less than 5 mins. hope yours is of similar ease.

Two tabs, one on each side of the seat bench, push them and pull the bench up then out.

Thanks everyone, I finally got pissed enough with it last night and muscled it out. Now just letting everything soak in Simple Solution and steam cleaning it.

Still kinda smells, but I'm not gagging every time I get in.
