Exclamation Help power seats dont work???

they would work every now and than but no they completely stopped working both of them... i checked all the fuses and they are all good, has this happened to anybody else and is there anything i should look for??? i posted a while ago on the C43/36 forum but nobody knew there so if anybody knows i would appreciate it

Sounds like a bad connection to the switches...

Do any of the functions work, or none at all?

nope nothing works not even the orthopedic seats

same thing happened to my 98 43 they wouldnt work for the first few minutes of driving. After some testing i found a bad convenice feature module. This module powers both front seat control modules

i had exact same problem it would work after a little bit of driving but recently it completely stopped..... do you know where this module is located??? and did you replace it???

ya its in the rear of the car.. replaced it havent had the problem again . Its a common problem on these cars

Think that you will find the modules in the doors,,they get water damage and the CAN gets confused

ya televison ive seen dcm/can problems but rarely in a 202, very common in 210 always the right rear but that issue has a diffrent list if symptoms...not like the ones tash is explaining. ill get a epc pic from work tomorrow
