what is in my arm rest

i was looking around in my 1999 c280 and i found this in my arm rest. can someone tall me what it is for.

thats for a mercedes cell phone i believe, i have the phone lol its huge

yeah, thats the connector for the mercedes cellphone. It's one of those old phones that won't work nowadays.
