There should be an idler wheel or something as a tensioner. You want it to be pretty tight on there, but the belt should still have a little "give" to it.

Thanks for response, and appreciate what you are saying, there is an idler wheel, as well as the adjuster wheel, and know it should be fairly tight, but rather than keep going back to the factors for different size belts, just wondered if anyone knew what length the belt is?
