63,XXX miles. Only minor problems. None that left me stranded, only Airbag warning required a special trip (to replace defective connector). Others were rattles (2), parking brake out of adjustment, CD player skipping. Love the car!

2002 C240 56k miles

Daily driven- when I owned this car it has 47k. Driven for almost 5 months, I put 1700 miles per month. Yikes.

Yea I had put a lot of miles on my car cuz i usually take it to vegas to visit my family. i got my car around the same time you did, probably like the last week of July (Wow my cars gonna be 2 yrs old!) Yea the back rattles a lot, so far i taken my car about 5 times (or maybe even more) to the dealer but the *******s can never get it fixed.

Remember the funnel spoke rims? Lol, yes I bought these rims from you, I picked them up at Carson, I also bought new PS tires, still a good deal for $400.00. Thanks man, I'll buy you Jollibee next time lol.

Flat tire, changed
6cd changer replacement after cd got stuck his fault though, not the mbs and thats it
ide reccomend it

2002 C230 Sport Coupe-27000 km currently--only owner--ALL problems resolved. With exception of last item all at MB cost with no hassles. Last three items were "Goodwill" after warranty expired after 26500km due to time(4 years).

140km----- Chattering blades--Both wiper blades replaced
3293km---- Drivers leather seat cushion separated--Leather replaced
3293km---- Rt rear window glass distorted--window glass replaced
---- Sunshade falls out of track--repaired OK
---- Lt side Drivers sill step cover not secure--replaced
7097km---- ALL dash warning lights came on then off--never happened again
---- BAS/ESP light on intermittently--replaced ESP cable
8287km---- CD displays Mag Empty when its not--Replaced CD changer
8339km---- CD displays Mag Empty AND door won't open--Replaced CD changer again
12665km---- Front suspension noisy--replaced both front stabilizer bar connecting links--also replaced both front stabilizer bar rubber bushings
---- Noise from Panoramic roof--lubed and tested OK
---- Smearing wipers--replaced both wiper blades
13365km---- Check engine light on--replaced O2 sensor
---- Coolant light on--Tested but nothing found
---- Smearing wipers--replaced both wiper blades again
---- Rt Front Pass Seat squeaking--sublet job--still perfect
13402km---- Coolant light on--replaced engine cooling fan assembly, suction fan and control assembly

---- Very little bass from BOSE--replaced rear subwoofer

26561km---- Front turn signals inoperative at times--Replaced both light sockets and lamps with new pigtail style
---- Whining noise and cabin vibration--replaced left front tie rod, wheel alignment
27292km---- Whining noise and cabin vibration--replaced both link rods for front stabilizer
---- Missing caps, rad support--replaced rad support cowl caps, and rad support pin
27563km---- Cabin vibration--replaced badly corroded brake discs(my cost this time but problem finally resolved).

Do I get a prize for the most and craziest problems?? Window glass must be worth something--lol

C320 Sport Edition, 118K... runs strong, like new...

Oil change every 3-5k (recommended by MB/RennTech Technician), Mobil1 syn, Bosch quad platinum plugs, K&N filters, Tranny fluid/filter replaced at 90k. Coolant flush every year, brake fluid renewed twice.

Crankshaft Position Sensor just started acting up, Going to replace it this week.
Lots of little things replaced under my 1ook MB warranty. definitely recommend it.

- Sunshade in back never goes down like it should
- Moonroof is being weird sometimes and will shut then open again
- Drivers seat squeeks
- A little after I got the car, the gas guage stopped working and then started working again

2002 C230k Coupe, C7/6spd, 43,000 miles.

Squeaky sway bar bushing, as yet unresolved.
Broken windshield (vandalisim)
Broken right fog light ???

Basically, no real problems other than the minor squeak. I'm pretty happy, although the cost of 7.4 quarts of 0w40 synthetic chaffs me a little.

I posted the topic, so I guess I should provide my info....

Currently have a 2003 C320 coupe with 51,500 miles (bought with 50,000 miles on it)...So far no problems (fingers crossed it stays this way).

Originally had a 2003 C320 coupe. I bought it new and traded it in at about 25,000 miles (June 2005). Only had a couple problems with that one....my sunroof, one of the clips broke and it wouldn't close...was under warranty so dealer fixed. On occassion after one of my oil changes, the check engine oil light would come on saying there was too much oil in it...was under warranty and the dealer checked out, but could never find a problem, so still a mystery.

I absolutely love this car which is why I bought a second one.....went through 4 cars in the last year and this one totally makes me happy. I was going to wait on the 2008 body style change of the c-class, but decided I would rather have the coupe...perhaps they will come out with another C-class coupe in a couple years.

On another note, I have tried contacting Steve and have not heard back from him. I am interested in doing a couple of mods perhaps and was wanting some price quotes. I emailed him from the addy on his website....is this the best way to get in touch with him?
