i would recommend you to start the car once the resonator was cut, listen to the sound of it. It sounds a bit raspy. Or maybe you can even get it clamped with "quality" exhaust clamps, so to make it easily reversible. Otherwise, if you weld the pipe on, u will have to cut it again to have the stock muffler back on. Even better, get a new flange and do it professionally.

V-band turbo clamps for the win.

i'm def not gonna put the stock resonator on, but you got your point, what if i do want to put it back on, so...some nice nice clamps would do fine...? the straight pipe is like...a little less than 1/4" smaller than the stock pipe so i might need to get an adaptor?

i didn't even know the eisenmann came with a resonator. it definitely sounds deeper....well thats what its supposed to do with the straight pipe because the resonator is there for sound deadening.

nice pics and videos. time to get some headers to complete the whole exhaust system.

i'm referring to the straight pipe, not the muffler.

Yeah, it sounds much better on a V6. I think it sounds like a 4-banger, almost kind of ricey. Getting headers will only make it louder. Then it will really be riced out.

The sound isn't that bad but I don't think the M271 engine puts out enough power for the exhaust/muffler to sound good. The stock one isn't bad but I would like the supercharger to whine a bit more.

How much does a Eisenmann exhaust cost?

Looks GOOD!!! Sounds.....I don't know. I rather listen to it in person. Usually you can't capture good exhaust sounds on the internet. I'm pretty sure it sound OK in person.

Totally agree...straight up rice. People, don't do an exhaust on anything less then a 6...it just sounds like rice...and for no reason as there will be minimal, if not 0 performance gains.

The tips look nice though.
