Talking Best Day of My Life

I have searched for weeks (actually for more than one year ) for solution of Ipod to my Command 2.0 on my purchased C240 2003 from end of 2007. I searched of all websites of forums, sellers, venders, seeing all Gateway, Dension, Dice versions for D2B and just thought the price just too high to justify. And I for a year didn't even think the solution is just under my nose. (Maybe just because my wife drive the car all the time.)

Today, I am fumbling the Nav 2.0 at SVC button, and saw there is aux option, inside there just a adjust for treble and bass, and it suddenly dawned me that without aux input option why they put this menu there. Then, I searched this forum that someone found aux input in their D2B S model cars.

So I just hopefully opened my glove box to see if I'm also that lucky.

Surely, I couldn't believe my eyes----- the aux input socket just quietly sit at right wall in the glove box. And I immediately used my Ipod to try it out.

Boom! the sound jumped out of the car speakers and I can even adjust treble bass, fade and balance. Perfect solution for me to waste a year to find out!

Anyone with D2B W203 chasis C class should investigate your car first, you might also be that lucky!

Congrats on the find. It seems all of the newer cars now have the aux port for mp3 players and ipods. I happened to fall short with my '02. But hey, congrats again!

Did you hear the most happy and regrettable thing is buying a boat? At least this one with no regret

So you have to have the Nav 2.0 option to have an Aux port?

In my car it says "No Aux"
But I've searched the glove compartment... and there's nothing on the right side =(

I've seen that thread you're talking about btw =P
Which is why I've already searched. But just to make sure, unless it's some craazy hidden thing.

(Why would they put an aux jack in the glove compartment... Think about it.
You'd have to leave your ipod there... I like my ipod nearby, so when i enter or leave the car I can just plug it in

Actually, I use a 3.5 mm male to male line threading out of glove box, and hooked up the Ipod to control vent, then it's a go.

i like where they put the aux input. and if you don't like where it is you can move it very easily. i added my aux input when i got my nav and put the plug in the factory spot. then i ran the audio male to male cable from the ashtray to the aux input inside the dash and in to the glove box right next to the plug. then i put the xm radio inside the ashtray. then if i want to use my zune i can unplug it and have aux right next to the shifter which is perfect for changing songs while driving. some people have also ran the aux cable into the top part of the center console for a clean look i guess.
