We don't offer color matching because we don't have a painting department here.

Pricing on the way
We still have to get it painted/CFed after we get the grille from you? Basically, it's a raw grille that needs to be painted? OR is it matte finish when we get it

No vertical supports it is. That is what we preferred. We are not going to offer mesh with this grill but for those that would like it we sell that separately here.

Pricing is as follows

Retail $349 for Fiberglass and $649 for Carbon

Carbon Creations Morello edition Grill
Group buy of 10 $450
Group buy of 25 $425

Fiberglass Morello Grill
Group buy for 10 $250
Group buy for 25 $225

What mesh were you talking about? Carbon edition means in CF? fiberglass means no finish yet?

Are we going to be able to see a sample of the Carbon Edition before the group buy? and if so, when do you think this will be?

why would anyone want the vertical slats? removal of the vertical slats is the point of this grill.

group buy price of $225-$250 sounds reasonable to me. so I'm in.

let me know when or how to make a deposit.

I'm pretty sure pre-painted is out of the question since they do not paint inhouse, plus to be price effective they would need to do it in bulk meaning the would have to stock many in various colors.

Pricing is close to what I expected, given that the final products fits & finish is good I find it reasonably fair. The non-CF version is priced in the same range as a Mattig grille. I know some will want it lower, but seriously if you like modding on a budget you should got something other than a Benz. Gotta pay to play.

Actually I even remember paying something like $300 for a East Bear grille shipped from Japan for my Corolla w/ Levin front end back in the late 90's. Why did I pay so much for it? I considered it as a rare and hard to obtain item and justified paying that much to have an exclusive part w/ bragging rights and that was when I was a poor college student too HA!

lol when i said supports i mean those vertical things behind the grill like the ones on the side.

lol i only ask about the vertical supports cause i noticed when i removed the single vertical slat off the stock grill, it was flimsy as hell. don't want the slats to be moving on the highway. lol

Just to put some options to rest Mikessw203 is correct, painting is not an option

I will have pics in a few weeks of the final product in both carbon and fiberglass
we will not be offering the grill with mesh, however if you want to install it, we offer it separately.

Me too. Is there any chrome trim out there that can be used to make this grille look OEM? I would like one if that is possible.

Best bet would probably be to get some chrome or brushed vinyl computer cut to maybe 1/8 or 1/4 inch thick for each slat if you wanted a chrome trim.

another thing is you can leave stuff like that to the body shop that you have paint the grill. Just tell them what you want and if they're worth half their salt they shouldn't have a problem doing that.
