No. You need a converter cable loom. I wrote about the odo(milage) already.

That is the beauty of it...As I said earlier in the post W203/W209 DONT have a MOST AGW in the car. It is incorpirated in the headunits. How the Comand NTG 2.5 works in MOST cars I have no certain source to tell but why wouldnt it since the AGW is built in.

I didnt mention that this facelift upgrade can be done with the Audio 10/20/30 and Comand APS 50 and widescreen units as well if you want to go a little cheaper way...All you have to do with those units is to put a MOST loom so the unit starts up. This is what you dont have to do on the NTG 2.5.

As far as my comment about those with upgraded audio, they most likely will not be able to do this upgrade. Although the Audio Gateway is always built into the head unit in a W203, the HK audio system uses a separate amp which gets its audio feed over the MOST bus. Until someone tests it, I doubt the NTG 2.5 unit will work with that older amp. I also doubt it will work with the older satellite radio unit, the MHI interface (not a problem since NTG 2.5 has bluetooth built in), tele-aid, or the VCS unit (is voice control also built into the NTG 2.5?)

I upgraded my Audio 20 to an 08 G class COMAND with reverse camera and bluetooth around 6 months ago (if anyone is interested there's a thread with pics).

If you can get the steering wheel controls and cluster to communicate properly then this will be an excellent upgrade from the older MCS 2 COMAND unit.

The older Audio 10/20/30 and Comand APS 50 units can be coded so that MOST is turned off and no fiber has to be plugged into the unit. Otherwise one 'hack' is to just loop a piece of fiber between the input / output sides of the unit - I remember Steve saying that this works, but I'm not sure if it works in all situations.

i emailed steve to ask if this was possible a long time ago and he said it was too expensive to be worth it...

i'm glad to see someone has tackled it.

maybe you can have him come fix the programming to tie up any loose ends...

I think your right about the most amp..Same problem they had with the W211 upgrade..Dont know if they solved it with the cable adapter looms out there.

This is not a problem on the old W203 with BOSE system since that is over can-bus.

Question about the Cluster: i like the W211 or The W209 Cluster but from what some people said when they tried to install it they said it doesnt FIT right..that some extra Bracket is Needed is this true?

Aslo i notice before your upgraded you had a Switch to Turn on/off Your Rear Wipers did you loose that Feature with the New Sets of 05+ Switches?

Yes...Have nothing to do with D2B or MOST...

Right now Everything works on the Comand inc Radio,Navi,DVD Movies,Bluetooth n mic,MP3 playback from HD and so on and so on...AMAZING comand..

What is NOT working right now is Can-Bus signal to cluster and wheel buttons. Hoping a programing will fix this. If not I sure can live without it to have all these neet features that the old comands dont have..It is not so far to reach to the comand and change the volume.. AND IT LOOKS SO GOOD...

I will add a backup camera later on as well.

Any one knows if the w203 comand dvd fits in the w209 clk?
I've been told that they are different, is there any major diferences in shape or what? Any pics of the differences?

I also would be interested in installing a comand NTG-2.5 in my CLK...

From what I remember, the CLK stack is shaped just slightly differently. A CLK COMAND unit will fit into a C, but it leaves small, but noticeable gaps on either side. The C class COMAND is too large to fit into the CLK. Otherwise they are identical.

FINALLY!!!! Problem solved with the wheel buttons and cluster info..All works now..You need a cluster with MOST or reprogram it to MOST instead of D2B...That is how easy it was...Now all this works 100%!!!!!!!!!!

I will upgrade the comand as soon as I found one, but first I would like to have a look on what I will expect, in terms of gaps.

Only problem from what I read till now, is I have Harman kardon sound system, don't know how will it work with the new comand!
