Ok Guys, Im attempting this with a 03 C32... With No Navi but With Bose System... I have bought every piece expect for the Ac system Im just waiting now for all the parts to come in.. The comand system is from an C55, This will answer the question if the comand can talk to the BOSE amp and produce sound....

If it's from a C55 it isn't an NTG 2 COMAND unit. It is most likely an MCS-II. I'm pretty sure it will not work with your Bose system or your stock cluster. |

If you can find a climate control panel that works, without the charcoal filter button or separate passenger side control for airflow (feet/vents/ etc) I think you will make a lot of people very happy! The 05+ W203 (other than the C320) does not have the charcoal filter or the seperate passenger side airflow settings.

Ya i could care less about the cluster.... and i knew it wouldn't work with that...I turn up and down the volume manualy anyway
The wireloom should work as far as getting it to boot, I double checked.... Yeah then again, we don't know if it will work with teh bose... We all assume it won't and im not keeping my hopes up... Gives me a reason to upgrade the speakers and a new amp even though i love the Stock BOSE system As for the charcoal filter and separated passenger side control haha... I don't even use any of that. Its a weekend car ment to cruze... Go to the track and look good but yes ill have a go at it once i get the rest of the parts... I also need a GPS receiver/antenna addon

Hello Chris The Swede
you've sent me the link to the adapter cable for comand aps, but would it be also possible to buy the original cables from the w203 facelift for the comand aps and then change it? would be a lot more of work but my cables or connectors have some contact problem so it would be necessary to change them in any case. as i've seen i have to change the bose sound system... that means new amplifier (is there an amplifier that works with the aps or only stock harman kardon?) or maybe direct plug in loudspeakers into comand aps. all in all it sounds like a lot of work, maybe i'll do it - after i've seen your work ( ) i would really like to do it.last thing is the cluster - i would organise an used cluster from the w209 and then reprogram it (kilometers that my car has been driven, what else?) using stardiagnosis - but what have you done with the mentioned gaps? any idea to close them or fill them? Regards Mario |

Have no idea?
Dont know since the amp is built in to the Comand and bose is not. Might work with the H/K amp for about 800 Euro. Cluster is described in the write up.

Depends where you get it from...I found the C55 one for 500.00 bucks so i said screw it, not the same really as the 2.5 (as its CDs) but should hopefully still work. Again guys its about trial and Error, Someone has to dish out the dough for it to see if it possible. We hope for a good outcome but they can't all be winners

Still working on it since mine is an early 2001..It sure is a mess if you have an early 2001 model. After that there is much easier. The MAPS sensor replacement is the hard part. Think I need the hole rear cable loom to make the fuel gauge to work..So this will take some time...The rest works fine. For the ODO you ned a brand new cluster to make it work. But you might still have to have a hacker to put the right ODO milage on it..

11/2001 needs a maps sensor..Cars made after this have the maps sensor.
Digital Bose wont work. None of those cables work..There is only one that works..No need to search. It is specially made for me and this need.
