Check all pipework you disturbed when changing pump - This is most likely source of the problem.
Check tank breather pipe from both tanks to filler neck to ensure that you did not kink or block it. Check pipework to charcoal canister for kinks or blockage. Finally check that you don't have a stuck purge valve up front in the engine compartment.
