yes, in my country c200k got the matte black pillars, c230 and c280 got the glossy black.. im thinking to covered it with carbon in future..

I'm pretty sure your not going to notice much of a difference as the sound is highly dependent on the recording device used to capture the sound. At best, you would need to use the same device in both cars to attempt to compare the systems... but even so would be very difficult. You need to sit in one with HK and listen for yourself...
