It does look pretty sick but with the Black interior and the Black Birds Eye Wood I can't but help like the full Leather Shifter instead. To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

thanks for the tip, did mine today too! this will probably sound picky, but on a cold day i found the plastic knob cold to touch. It's an auto, but i habit of going for the gearstick. this leather one feels a lot better

for once, managed to get at lower price than the US! Found one on ebay germany for £50, ($70).

Really easy to fit, there's a video here if any needs a guide.

ignore where the guy talks about working on the collar. there is nothing to it. just one holding nut. one twist and it falls down.

It's the same but instead of having the star on top it has the gear numbers.
Good info. I still would like to put it as it is on 6MT. I don't need the gear numbers, and if someone else will drive it.... never mind, no one else should drive it... haha

That's gotta be the best shift knob I've ever seen!

Is there a different part number for this with black leather? I think I'll pick this up as well, since I've never really liked the look or feel of the aluminum knob (I think it looks and feels like plastic)

You should also have a look at the Brabus shifter - costs more but looks that much more impressive. I'm installing mine soon.

Post some pics when you do. I'm looking at the ones on the site and I'm not sure if I like the cut outs on the back or not. Also, let me know how it feels in your hand.

EDIT: OMG do I love the suede cross stitched interior though. Also, my Mercedes garage is a Brabus dealer.. hmm...

I love my Brabus shifter. Feels like cast iron! Heavy in a good way.

Is the Brabus knob illuminated orange, or is that just a reflection? Also, that's totally disappointing that the standard knob is plastic, but not surprising.

illuminates orange...same shade as the console so blends in perfectly. You have to tap into the power by the boot. Simple splice job.

I love it!

Looks great, but seems dark. Is that the same light grey as in the interior code 118 light grey/black combination or is the lighting just making it look deeper grey?

I love it!

Is there any way to get that wood trim aftermarket without it costing a kidney?

I'm talking about getting OEM quality and not that stick on stuff.
