Tire Pressure?

I have a C300 4 Matic with staggered wheels and my door sticker recommends 32psi front, 36psi rear. Now my question is does more pressure equal better cornering? The max pressure on the sidewall is 51psi. Any ideas and what do you run your tire at?

I generally run 1 or 2 psi over recommended. It gives a good solid ride and improved fuel economy.

In Canada with staggered 17 AMG wheels and Continentals, the door sticker states 30 F & 36 R.

Why would they differ from the US spec car?

I use 1 or 2 psi above recommended and check weekly.

On our corrigated & potholed roads I run the recommended pressure for ride comfort & to help protect the suspension & alloy rims.
High speed highway on a trip with suitcases & Labrador ,I run +5 psi. for increased economy , sharper handling & cooler tyre temps.
