LED tails...different color turn signals???

Hey guys, I recently purchased a set of OEM LED tails for my C. I had them tinted by Jon's Tinted Tails and on my way to the car today, I noticed something funny. When I unlocked the doors, I thought I noticed 2 different colors from the tails...thought I better check. Turned on the turn signals and sure enough, the right one blinks amber and the left one blinks red. How is this possible? Was there a change at some point or did I get the wrong part sent to me? You'd think that MB would check that they are sending out matching parts? I'm assuming there is no way to replace those LEDs or is there? I hate the fact that my turn signals don't match, plus now that they are tinted, I'm guessing there is no way MB will be replacing one.

Perhaps you could attach a photo of the yellow one? Not that I'm skeptical or anything.

Perhaps with the four-ways on.

Could it be possibly you got one LED (red) and one non-LED (yellow) in a mixup?

Strange. Looking forward to the photos...

Where are the tails available other than the dealer? Anyone have a specific source?

From Mercedes:

I briefly looked into this and the part numbers you state seem to be
correct. Perhaps one of the lights was packaged incorrectly and you got a
Euro light. I advise you that you should take this problem back to the
dealer who installed them and ask them to correct. I am not sure if they
will have a problem with the fact you had the lights tinted, but that is
between you and the dealer.

There is nothing more that I can offer you.

Best of luck,

How about writing down the part number off the yellow light assembly, not the box?

Obviously, many of us wouldn't mind switching to the yellow version, if only we knew the part number and the label on the light is the way to find out.

I loved the answer from MB Canada. "We are not helping you because you modified the light."

At least your 3 piece spoiler looks nice...

Looks like the parts number in the listing below matches your numbers

If the dealership gives you a hard time, maybe these are an alternative.

US models are red, but im sure you CAN NOT change red ones into amber, because the LED's are build in the housing.

So im sure that the EU tails have different part numbers

Take a look in the official part numbers thread (sticky) I posted the LED Tail Lamp part numbers not realising there were different ones in the US.
The ones I posted are Euro Amber ones, see below:

I would love LED tail lights, but that's a bit more than I'm willing to spend.

Was the price posted someplace? And who would you order from? First I've heard you could order Euro parts from a US dealer, part number or not.

I ordered from a US MB dealer...can't remember but they cost about $500 for the pair. To me, worth every penny as they look so much nicer than the non-LED ones, especially with the custom tint. Now only if my dealer can find a part # for the LED board separately so I can get my turn signals to be the same color. Unbelievable that of all the OEM tails in North America, that I happen to get one that is Euro spec...so frustrating. The dealer is now telling me he's not sure if the board is available separately. How can that be?? So if anybody's LEDs go out, they are expected to replace the entire taillight....that doesn't seem to make sense!

What I don’t understand the LED lamps are not fully LED lamps
Only the turn signals are LED

This question was settled at least a year ago in at least 50 posts. So here we go once more.

And where is that photo of the yellow LED version lit up?

You ordered the US version lamps with red LEDs from a US dealer which has nothing to do with my wish to order the Euro yellow version. Or have you forgotten?
