Removing door inserts

The more I look at my car the more I dont like the chrome inserts. How do I go about removing these.

Sawsall? But what would you replace them with? If you are buying new inserts from MB it should give a clue.

I dont want to replace, I want to return to stock condition. I was trying to save a few euro by not going to MB to remove them.

Are you talking door handle inserts? If so they are usually held on with double sided tape. A bit of heat and a bit of fishing line.
