Cigarette Lighter Stuck

The other day I pushed down on the cigarette lighter, and the freakin thing never popped back out. It's still jammed up inside. Have any of you had the same problem? Is there a way of having it popped out without taking it to the dealer? Let me know. Thanks

Hopefully the fuse did blow as I would hate to think what would happen if the lighter element stayed heated for a long period of time.

What does happen on the odd lighter is that a piece of tobacco can carbonate on the tip and contact is lost until you give it a push

this same thing happened to me, i used my pocket knife to pry it out of there, and yes my fuse was blown after that. if you put the lighter in the socket while the fuse is blown it will get stuck.
