My Oil is always overfilled

My W204's oil is always overfilled.

First, when I bought it new, and then for the entire first year.

Now it is back from the service A, and they overfilled it again.

Is this some conspiracy? ha-ha.

Should I try to buy one of those things to suck some out, but will it suck all of it out, when I just want to take out a few tablespoons?

Is your car completely level when you check the dipstick ?

If it is slightly over the max level ie a few mm then I see no reason to remove any. In some ways the workshop is doing you a favour in that it may not be necessary for you to top up until the next service.

Your manual should tell you the amount which is required to fill from the low to high mark . From this you should be able to ascertain the amount of oil overfill.

I think it's uncomfortably over. You know how the low to full mark is down in a little groove. Mine is passed the groove a bit. It's hard to explain. Guess I need to take some pictures for you guys.

Last year it never changed the tiniest bit all year, so I hoped it would lower at service, and it didn't.

The car is level.

I might try to get one of those pumps to get some out, though I'm scared it will all come out. ha-ha.

Best level is the center of low and high. Check when car is cold.

Low.........Best...........High
