I wish my '09 had the leather wrapped steering wheel. I had it in my '07. I hate the feel of the stock one I have now

The only things on that list that interest me is the Keyless go and rear view camera. The others have a novelty factor to them with some of the options listed already standard/available in the UK.

Exactly what I was thinking...and the tire pressure read out would be nice as well.

Actually all C Class have leather wrapped wheels. Take a closer look. I have always thought it was a bit hard but it should wear well.

You can always add the aftermarket remote start from Mid City Engineering. It's not quite keyless go in the sense that you still have to hit a button, but you can at least put your key in your pocket once you do and drive off.

Yes it is. All North American W204s have standard leather-wrapped steering wheels. It's just hard, cheap leather.

It's the same system just tuned for more agressive driving I'm assuming

No i think In US you guys do not have this. Here in Europe I paid extra to have this speed sensitive steering. Its very very light on slow speeds, reveseing , while parking , turning etc. and gets harder when you drive fast.

I can use 1 finger to turn the wheel while parking or reversing. Its that light.

IM SAYING THIS RIGHT NOW... IF MERCEDES DOES CHANGE AND IMPLEMENT ALL OF THESE CHANGES, IT WILL ALMOST COMPLETE ALL OF THE PROBLEMS THE CAR HAS. the only other problem, they HAVE TO HAVE TO put the SLK 350 Engine with its tuning in this car.

300 HP
265 Lb torque

IF they do all of those changes listed above AND increase it to this power, Mercedes will OWN and there pretty much won't be anything else BMW or Lexus could say at that point. Except for the handling which is because the C-Class is poorly shaped for the tracked and gives out like a Mother*******! but everything else non-performance oriented problems I have had with this car, the solutions are ALL listed on the 2010 changes.

Kinda had a hard time following you towards the end there....
Are you saying the basic geometry of the C does not work well on the track? I have read a few reviews that blamed the wheel/tire combo on the C for it's "skating" feel but otherwise the suspension setup was excellent. I think the C63 shows that this is the most capable C Class ever. (which honestly doesn't set the bar too terribly high) What tires are you running?
