Great thread. The best part about it is that dealers will honor these coupons no matter what dealer you go to. For example, if you live in Newport Beach and have a coupon from San Francisco, the dealer in NB will most likely honor the coupon from SF.

hey sigfreak did you have your B service done? did they honor the coupon? has anyone used a coupon from another dealer? my dealer quoted me for 400.00...I wouldnt mind using the Anahiem special for 229.95...im still waiting for them to call me back to let me know if they'll honor it or not. thanks

The dealership I go to (FJNB) said they would honor all coupons that were NOT expired, and from LOCAL dealerships (ie: that I would realistically go to use the coupon, given the chance... which probably means LA/OC area). However, I imagine this policy would differ from dealership to dealership (for better or worse). I haven't needed to do any servicing on my vehicle yet (that the dealer hasn't done for free), so I haven't tried using a competitor's coupon yet... but I will when it comes time to do my Service A!

I am SO subscribing to this thread... looks like it will be very useful in saving me money down the road! Thanks for creating it OP!

FYI, Almost all dealers price match each other. Ive had coupons from EAST COAST dealers used in SoCal with no problems

key word being "almost"....i tried in Miami and they wouldnt match $99 from FJ, but they did give me the "express" rate of $189 instead of $289 for my S550 when i said i thought it was unreasonable to charge $300 for an oil and filter change.
