How much did your Service B run?

My last Service B was about $450, at about 50K miles.

Mine is about 299.99 without the radiator flush..radiator flush runs around 199.99

I just brought my C into the dealer today for it's Service B. I was quoted on the phone $450 with nitrogen in the tires and i told them forget the nitrogen since air i think is fine so that cut it down to $399 for the Service B

As i dropped off the car and was signing the cool electronic tablet that the SA was holding my mouth dropped when i saw something like $550 and i was like " wtf ???? " though nooo i didnt use that kind of language !!! The SA started rambling on about the car at 24000 miles could use a flush here yada yada yada thus why it was taht price

i told him take the flush out and simply give me the Service B like i had requested !!!!! Wow i am so glad i looked at that price before leaving or i could've used a large tube of ummmm KY noooo

Flush what? Keeping in mind that MB says the original coolant is good for 15 years (might be a SLIGHT exaggeration) it's pretty clear that this little scheme is a pure profit center for the service writer.

Two hundred bucks to replace the coolant, even when the time comes, borders on criminal.

Is this a New Jersey dealer, perchance?

Service B is been offered for 249.00 mostly all dealer accept and honor all coupons.

... It Long Beach Mercedes...Oh yeah most southern cali Mercedes group will match (I know for a fact Southbay will).

I was off on that...just checked the receipt and it was $330. They quoted me $450 so I had that in my mind.

My daughter has a C300, and I get it serviced (oil change) where I work. (I work at a GM Dealership). I just did svc B here, and reset the indicator. Now it says service A2. By the way, When her car was due for svc A, I researched here, and a Benz Mstr mech emailed me, and re-iterated what I know being in the car business. GM cars like all the rest, only need oil changes and that's about it. You should change the air filter @ 60k. He recommended the C300 air filter change @ 45k miles. Coolant is good for 100k+, and xmsn fluid is good for 100k+. I am sure MB and the rest are the same. You can't be mad at the SA's, they are trying to make a living, but, just adding my $.02.

Yes they are. They gave me a GLK350 for a loaner. Gotta say it's got a little oomph to it!

My car had a belt squeaking on idle and slight load, also loss of power when trying to accelerate through a right turn with a rumble coming from right strut tower (guessing) during the attempted acceleration. Anyone use Sovereign before?

Service A in Canada 20000 KMs - $CAD 300

Service B in Canada 40000 KMs - $ CAD 650...WTF !!! i just get mine done last week and not really happy with the price.....

Folks....MB service is costly in Canada since almost all the dealer in metro area are owned by MB Canada.

- seriously looking into BMW and Audi where the first 4 yrs of service is free where Audi come with Audi care for $CAD 750.00 which i think is worth it

My daughter now has the same thing, when you start in the morning, there is a "chirping" sound that then becomes erratic. Come and goes. SW wants $250, says pulley's are tight, has to be the belt, but alas, it's not covered under warranty.

Called Autobahn Motors in the Redwood City, CA area, and it was $498.

Using a coupon from a dealership in Laguna Niguel (friend them on facebook) and I should be getting it for $229 tomorrow. Will let you know if it actually pans out.

Glad u found my coupon in the coupon thread for laguna niguel... Heads up tho, I don't think they will accept it unless it is from a dealer u would reasonally go to, as within normal driving distance... I got mine coupon matched to laguna niguel but the dealer was only a few mins away...

I have owned my car for almost 2 years now, but only have 10,000 miles on it.

yep either the mileage or time. a year for a service or 10k or 20k and go on...
