Exclamation HELP - Got the God Damn Wrong Rear Dome Light Festoon Bulb Size, Please Advise!

Somebody in the Interior Bulb Change DIY told me to get the M-28 Polarg Festoon Bulbs for the rear dome light... WRONG... too short!!!

These are the ones I tried to put in, but the bulb is too thin and too short:

DO NOT GET THESE... I REPEAT, DO NOT GET THESE... too small for the rear dome light...

There, I wish somebody would have told me that... the search function really sucks these days, nowhere could I find out what exact bulb size to get...

NOW, can anybody out there please advise me on what the real size is to get for the Rear dome light if I want a polarg festoon style bulbe back there????

thanks in advance, sorry for frustrated tone, but now i have to have my rear dome light hanging out for the next few days till i get the right bulb

Just look for a polarg that's 40-42 mm.

I've researched this before, and I've read that the prongs are pliable. So you can adjust them to fit the bulb, but I don't know for sure.
Others just put an LED there. It's the same color.

ya i dont wanna mess with the prongs, might as well get the right sized bulb... and i dont want an led either since i like the way polargs look in the front already...

i have polargs everywhere except this damn festoon bulb...

i guess polarg does not make a 6411 bulb???

I tried an LED festoon bulb that was 38mm (1 1/2") and also had to adjust the prong to compensate. I had to return the LED because it was making a buzzing sound.

The OEM festoon bulb measures 44mm or 1 3/4".

I'm pretty sure the site I ordered mine is called automotivelightingusa.com or autolightingusa.com.. I'm trying to check 4 ya but my bb sucks rite now.. Anyway, when you search under festoon bulb they ask you small medium or large.. Get the large 1 I made the mistake of getting the medium! Get the large 1.. If anything google "large polarg festoon bulb" search you'll find it!

Finally !!! Somebody actually gives useful bulb information!!!

I will now confirm
for all those who may be in question, if u want to do polarg all the way around, the rear dome light bulb is the M-88 size. That is all you need to know.

I've seen the M88 polarg come up while I was researching polargs on here.
Tell me if it fits when you get them!

This site says there 44mm. Too long?
http://www.automotivelightingusa.com...roducts_id=547

And Amazon says they're 52mm! What?

Thanks for the model number. I've had a lot of difficulty finding anything in the proper size--polar G or LED or whatever. I'd kinda like to get LEDs to match the front, but polar Gs would be better than stock (and cheap).
