What are the best tire chains/cables that won't wreck my rims?

So it's getting to be that time of again year again...the snowy time! I occasionally like to go up to the local ski resort (Whistler) but don't want to have to buy a new set of winter tires for the season or a second set of tires and rims...the amount of time my car see's the snow is to little to warrant that.
My problem is that I have C63 rims with pirelli rubber, to say they suck in the snow is a major understatement. What tire chains/cables (probably cables) has anyone used that don't wreak/scuff my rims? Most of the ones i see are for higher profile tires.
Ideas??

looks like i'm answering my own questions, but any another ones would be great to add to the mix.

these fit the 255/35/18 that the c63 tires are, and supposedly don't rub on the rim, can anyone verify this?
