Heres some pics from the event.
This C Kovacs ride. Really nice car
Notice the SLK32 intake and twin needswings manifold.
The brembo gran turismo kit on front and rear looks great!

These are the x fires i saw
Needswings Intakes and Code3 pulley

Note this was the e55 i was going to buy.
But my buyer for the C32 backed out bc the banks are tighter than your first gf,
he could not secure a loan, five places with a credit score of 680
so i couldnt offload my car to him

Thanks, moosejaw! Really enjoyed meeting you and everyone else, kickin' tires and runnin' the cars. The LET/Eurocharged guys are professional and knowledgeable. I don't have the dyno printouts yet but the best numbers we pulled on my car were 355 HP/350 torque (it was Africa hot though...) Mods include fresh dyno tune on a 185 LET pulley, needswings manis and dual intake, and supercooler with cooling system separation and intercooler surge tank. I had Wayne lower the fan trip temp while we were at it. The car drove great back to Tampa -- tons of pull at the top.

I also need to give props to Rob at needswings for getting me the dual intake on a moment's notice prior to the event. I didn't realize that the SL55 intake setup was incompatible with the needswings manis, and Rob came through in a pinch for me.

Damn did I miss another Chinese food feeding-frenzy? I got there towards the end. And yeah, the heat was brutal.

Before & after dyno charts? The heat might've hurt peak numbers, but shouldn't adversely impact the delta between the runs too much.

Glad to hear it was a good time! Moosejaw - some nice pics, thanks for sharing.

Yeah you did, it was pretty cool. How did you do with the 185? You going to the AMG Picnic this weekend? I just brought a heineken mini keg for us to chug down

Kovac's SLK was impressive and looked great as well.
If only C32s should pack the hardware this car has. It should do some impressive times at the dragway.

The Xfires were impressive too, they should be feared........
Even if they are the distant cousin of the PT Cruiser
