Check coolant warning? Can't go bad that quickly, can it??

So, I got a coolant warning light on Lenneth. What doesn't make sense though, is that the radiator and the tranny were replaced about 9 months ago. There's no hiccuping in the throttle or in the shifting either. The car definitely doesn't go into limp mode.

I checked the fluid in the reservoir, and everything seems to check out. Could it be something as simple as a faulty sensor? The car has had *no* change in driveability, smoothness of acceleration or shifting.

check your washer fluid. if your washer fluid is low..it'll give off the same warning.

Interesting. Unusual, but interesting. Thanks for the notice.

It seems that most people's "low coolant" issues, if they're indeed low coolant, are a leaking intercooler - not anything to do with the radiator or tranny. Might want to pull one of your surge tanks and check for the telltale baked-on residue, assuming adding washer fluid doesn't solve your problem. Best of luck.
